Calendar Data: We access your calendar events (including event titles, times, and locations) to calculate departure times and provide navigation. This data is processed on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Location Data: We use event addresses from your calendar to provide navigation and calculate travel times. We do not track your real-time location.
Phone Number: If you opt in to SMS alerts, we collect your phone number to send departure reminders. This is stored securely and used only for sending you notifications.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To calculate when you need to leave for calendar events
To open your preferred maps app with the correct destination
To send push notifications and SMS reminders when it's time to leave
To provide the evening summary of tomorrow's schedule

Data Storage and Security

Your calendar data is processed locally on your device. We do not store your calendar events on our servers. If you use SMS alerts, your phone number is stored securely and encrypted.

Third-Party Services

Promptly integrates with the following third-party services:

Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze: When you tap to navigate, we open your chosen maps app with the destination address.
Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook: We read your calendar events to display them in the app.

Your Choices

You can:

Revoke calendar access at any time in your device settings
Disable push notifications in your device settings
Opt out of SMS alerts in the app settings
Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us

Children's Privacy

Promptly is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
